How do I email only a specific group within the community?
The best way to do this is to post an Announcement. Follow the directions above to get to where you compose your Announcement. The last option before you click the green button on the bottom right to Post Announcement is “Who Can See This?”. Members (which means everyone) is selected by default. Click on the box and select “Custom” from the drop down. You should then see check boxes of specific groups. Whatever groups you select will be the only ones able to view the announcement on the site and they will be the only ones who receive an email notification.
